I’ve been reading through GEPC (Galatians Ephesians Philippians and Colossians) and it’s just reminded me of how much I love Scripture.  The stories, the styles, the Truth, the spotlight affect it sometimes always has on your sins, and everything else.  But today, as I was in Philippians, a couple of verses jumped out to me.  I have read them before but they were so powerful today.

Philippians 3:10-11 says, “I want to know Christ – yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.” (TNIV)

I mean I want to know Christ but can I honestly say, as Paul says, that I want to participate in His sufferings?  Hmm…I wish it was easy to say yes to this question.  How about you?
